When Link first purchases an item, Ravio will give him a one-time half-price discount on that item. Ravio occasionally offers discounts on item rentals, roughly reducing the cost to half. After Link purchases all of Ravio's items, Ravio celebrates and thanks him for finding him so many Rupees before permanently shutting down his shop and retiring. Buying items is more expensive, but they are not taken away should Link die. After Link obtains the three Pendants of Virtue, Ravio begins to sell the items in his shop in addition to renting them. The rental period for Ravio's items is indefinite however, if Link dies while carrying rented items, Sheerow will retrieve them, meaning that Link must rent them once again. If Link returns to Ravio's Shop, Ravio will tell him that one of his other customers has finally returned the Sand Rod and that it is now available. When the hero returns from the Chamber of the Sages, Sheerow swoops in and takes the Rod from him. After Link rescues Osfala from the Thieves' Hideout, he hands Link the Sand Rod, but explains that it is not his, as he rented it from Ravio.

The first item Ravio gives to Link is the Rented Bow, which is free of charge. Ravio begins renting items after Link returns the Smooth Gem to Oren. Perhaps by making the skirt more circular in nature it would have the drape and flow that Hilda's dress has in the picture you offered.Ravio's Shop is located inside Link's House in Hyrule. Your dress appears to be the same width as your shoulders at the hem.

What I mean is her dress in the drawing is notably wider at the hem than her shoulders are, even with her pauldrons. Yours appears either to be more structured, more rectangular, or (possibly) overstuffed by the poofy petticoat. Her's appears looser, more flowing, possibly a circle skirt.

I have a photo of just that thing handy!Īs another note, your dress seems more slim below the waist than Hilda's. Many dresses designed for use with petties do come with stiff netting sewn into the liner to help keep it from sagging or bunching oddly. You could add some more chiffon to the petti halfway down to try and bulk up the lower portion, or stiffen the dress with a layer of crinoline or organza near the bottom as well. I dunno if you made the petti yourself, but I also notice that Hilda's dress is a little more a-line and flared a bit more at the very bottom. But the tabard and skirt suggestions I'll definitely take into consideration when I fix up the costume! And I actually do have the earrings, you just can't see them behind my hair in that photo. Thanks for your suggestions! I had issues with my ears staying in place. it'd be cool if you could manage the earrings she wears as well Your skirt looks like it could be a little longer to hide the petticoat? sticking out at the bottom. Try lining your tabard with a stiff material so that it lies smoother and flatter against your skirt and doesn't bunch up so much around the belt area Your ears, hers point up while yours are pointing down I looked one up and here are some things I noticed other than those you mentioned: It's always good to put up the references you used so people know what you're going for.
